ADVENTURE ON THE ISLAND

TUESDAY, THURSDAY & SATURDAY

We begin with a four-mile bike ride along Ixtapa's bike path, watching the most representative plants and animals of the area; at Playa Linda we board water taxis to get to Ixtapa Island, where we kayak for 40 minutes; later on we snorkel for an hour, admiring all the beauty of a coral reef; afterwards we have lunch at a restaurant by the beach, resting there for more than an hour. We then take the water taxi back to Playa Linda and visit the crocodile pit where, besides crocodiles, we may see turtles, iguanas and some typical birds of a mangrove estuary habitat. Finally we bike back to the starting point (4 more miles). Includes all the equipment, bilingual guides, traveler insurance, water taxi transportation, lunch at Ixtapa Island and purified water available anytime.

ADVENTURE ON LAS GATAS

MONDAY, WEDNESDAY & FRIDAY

We start at Zihuatanejo Municipal Pier, where we take a water taxi to get to Las Gatas Beach. There we board kayaks to paddle for 40 min. inside Zihuatanejo Bay. Later on we get back to Las Gatas to enjoy one hour of snorkeling in the surrounding coral reefs. Afterwards we have lunch at a restaurant by the beach, resting there for more than an hour. We finally take the water taxi back to the Municipal Pier. Includes all the equipment, bilingual guides, traveler insurance, water taxi transportation, and lunch at Las Gatas Beach.

ECOLOGICAL WALK

MONDAY, WEDNESDAY & FRIDAY

A 2½-mile walk through the Aztlán Ecological Park, where you will see many of the most representative birds and plants of this region. At Playa Linda you will visit the crocodile pit, where, besides crocodiles, you can see turtles, iguanas and some typical birds of a mangrove. Includes specialized bilingual guide (biologist), binoculars, lunch at Playa Linda and purified water available anytime.
