ADVENTURE ON THE ISLAND

TUESDAY, THURSDAY & SATURDAY

We begin with a four-mile bike ride along Ixtapa's bike path, riding for 2.5 miles across a tropical forest; at Playa Linda we visit the crocodile pit where, besides crocodiles, we see turtles, iguanas and some typical birds of a mangrove swamp; then we board water taxis to get to Ixtapa Island, where we will stay for 3 hours at a restaurant by the beach. During that time we will do some ocean kayaking for an hour, and then snorkel for another hour, admiring the beauty of a coral reef. We finally take the water taxi back to Playa Linda and bike back to the starting point (4 more miles). Includes all the equipment, bilingual guides, traveler insurance, water taxi transportation, lunch with a drink at Ixtapa Island and purified water available anytime.

ADVENTURE IN POTOSÍ

MONDAY, WEDNESDAY & FRIDAY

We'll take a van that takes us to the Eco-Park EL REFUGIO DE POTOSÍ, with its lookout tower that stands 50 ft above the coastal plain and the exhibition of several native species subject to conservation projects, like green iguanas, butterflies, military macaws, hummingbirds, snakes, turtles, arachnids and more. Later we'll go to the fishing village of Barra de Potosí, where we will stay for 2 hours at a restaurant by the beach. During that time we will kayak in a lagoon for about one hour, paddling gently among beautiful tropical mangroves, admiring all the different aquatic birds that thrive there. Finally the van will take us back to the starting point. Includes bilingual guide, traveler insurance, transportation, admission to the park, kayak rental, seafood lunch (fish fillet or similar) and a drink at Barra de Potosí.

ECOLOGICAL WALK

MONDAY, WEDNESDAY & FRIDAY

A 2½-mile walk through the Aztlán Ecological Park, where you will see many of the most representative birds and plants of this region. At Playa Linda you will visit the crocodile pit, where, besides crocodiles, you can see turtles, iguanas and some typical birds of a mangrove. Includes specialized bilingual guide (biologist), binoculars, lunch at Playa Linda and purified water available anytime.
